I'm as relieved as everyone else who loves the Yankees that our postseason "drought" lasted only one season - and what's more, the championship drought that had been dogging us since we let the 2001 World Series get away is mercifully, thankfully, and finally over. Girardi has his first ring as skipper, A-Rod and Tex have their first rings period, and Jeter, Rivera, and Posada, God Bless Them, have their fifth rings as members of the Yankees.
And having said all that, the first thing I did was look for ways to continue celebrating the Yankees championship long into the offseason - and I'm happy to say that New York Yankees IQ The Ultimate Test of True Fandom is most definitely up to the task.
